New submission from Andrew P. Lentvorski, Jr. <bsder at allcaps.org>:
I got the following error on doing an "hg add"
abort: '\n' and '\r' disallowed in filenames
This is on OS X Intel with Mercurial 0.9.4 with Python 2.3.5.
Where does it come from? Is this a Python or a Mercurial limitation?
Now, I was a bit surprised to find a '\n' or '\r' in my filename (it was
installed by another program).
However, I see no a priori reason to exclude those characters if the underlying
filesystem allows them.
