Google summer of code

what we miss here is:
 * gui which displays what changed (either on windows or in edgewall trac)
 * eclipse plugin
 * integration into edgewall trac (multiple repo's in one trac instance)
 * mercurial on windows:
   working server
   intaller which does not need be be admin
 * working tailor to go from/to cvs/svn

generally it seems that it is not very important to mercurial people
to integrate mercurial into anything. therefor the usability and
integratability seems still on a very low level ... and summer of code
seems not interesting too :)

we try to introduce hg and people are revolting against it. it is not
a pleasure to use, but a pain. we have java code with jar's in it, use
windows, eclipse, edgewall trac, and use distributed development
model. integration into eclipse and trac is not working well, and a
very diffuse "multi-head and nobody-knows how to remove all this heads
again" feature. and of course upgrading is a pain in the a... with
this ill-designed windows installer requiring beeing admin.
