[PATCH] docs fixes

The docs subdir's makefile could use some love. Attached are two very
simple patches which makes a linux packager's life much simpler. The
first installs the manpages to the correct location, while the second
honors DESTDIR.

Sorry if I double posted, I sent the wrong bundle last time, and I think 
to the wrong address to boot :-/
