hg serve failure on using py2exe generated hg executable

Hi,
 I am using mercurial from the main repo and crew. I built mercurial
using "py2exe" and generated an executable (Emacs needs an
executable). I am not able to serve using the built in server. The
same works if I use the script through the python interpreter.
 I could provide more debugging information if you let me know methods
to get them. I tried "hg -v --debug serv" and did not get any extra
information.

PS: Since I have disabled list mails (as most are commit mails), I
