Thanks! You've encouraged me to work on it some more. I merged my
changes with your changes and Eduoard's changes, and the result is at
http://dingoskidneys.com/cgi-bin/hgwebdir.cgi/convert-queue-crew-dholth

The updated code can convert The Subversion Repository past revision
20,000, unlike the slightly older code that only makes it to
Subversion revision 4379. Don't try this at home without a local copy
of the Subversion repository, and if it converts too many revisions at
once the code uses too much RAM. git-svn solves this by spawning a
subprocess that actually uses the Subversion library for a limited
number of revisions.
