Pushed in crew as be20a42f27a1.

I forgot the "import .gitk" prompt at startup, would do more harm than good in the long run. People using crew version should be knowledgeable enough to fix this by themselves. We will make sure the next release note lists this change. A warning was added to the wiki entry.
