[issue723] failed to import extension hgext/churn: No module named demandload

after installing 0.9.4 (whatever i had earlier worked fine) every hg command
produces two lines of 
*** failed to import extension hgext/churn: No module named demandload
except --version which only produces one.
This is under Ubuntu Feisty Fawn. 
Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help diagnose this.
