[issue1254] pulling over http doesn't work with recent crew

There was a report of HTTP 500 errors on pulling from hgweb. Python 2.5.2 was
used, with revision 18c429ea3a0e from recent crew/main (introduces iterators to
hgweb protocol command functions). "Premature end of script headers:
hgwebdir.cgi." Need to look into this.
