Ah, I can of course update it to say "1 hunks".

Well, there are definitely worse "bugs" out there :-) And for output
which are parsed by simple scripts it makes sense to have just one
fixed output.

But on the other hand -- if I were a translator who had taken the
effort to translate all the strings, then I would love to be able to
handle these small issues too.

So far my patches only removed the English-centric plurals. Whether or
not we want to use the ngettext() is another question, I think.
