hgwebdir.cgi hangs

Hi,

I am having big problems on my server with hgwebdir.cgi. Basically,
anyone who clicks on link:

http://hg.sympy.org/sympy/file/tip/README

causes the hgwebdir.cgi to hang, the cpu usage shows 100% and apache
timeouts. So if you click on it, I'll have to kill hgwebdir.cgi by
hand. Is there any way to debug and fix this?

Othewise I fear I'll have to disable the web access. :(
