That sounds a bit strange - I need to have Mercurial to build  
Mercurial? But even when I have built Mercurial before, it complains.  
Shouldn't the build find the previously compiled and installed version  
and be able to use it? For me, this looks like a circular dependency,  
which feels wrong...
