Conversion of large historical svn repos ?

Hi all,

I am attempting to convert a rather large and
historical subversion repository ton Mercurial
and am attempting to consolidate all the many
branches that exist therein.

Basically I believe the work flow has been that of
 * Creating a new branch for every release
 * Working on this branch until complete
 * Tagging the branch
 * Creating a new branch from the old branch.

Thus there are many branches and equally
many tags.

A conversion using hg's convert (1.1) worked
pretty well. I now want to try and consolidate
all the many branches and get rid of them.

hg heads reports far too many heads that I'm
comfortable in merging without asking for some
help :)

I will attach heads.txt, tags.txt and branches.txt
on my next post assuming I'm allow to attach
files. They are the outputs of the respective
hg commands.

Thanks for any input guys,

cheers
James
