There are just _some_ things I don't like. In particular I don't like
the way I'm handling a fake progress indicator. Another point I don't
like too much is the way I'm trying to decouple the "business logic"
from the "presentation logic", I think I'm giving too importance to
external displayers while what I really should focus on is provide a
"good" default displayer.

About the presentation layer I'd like to have something that can
behave like ui.status in order to replace them in some points, is it
something acceptable?

Despite these points I'd like to receive some feedbacks about the
whole stuff, that's why I posted that patch.
