[PATCH 0 of 2] keyword: avoid os import, compact variable declaration

Hi,

2 enhancements for keyword extension in crew:

- use util.splitpath to avoid os import
- shorten global variable declaration

BTW, kudos to Patrick Mezard (unfortunately his name can only be
spelled correctly once patchbomb is able to do that) for fixing
everything for windows.
