I'm subscribed to emacs-devel, and I have been reading the thread with a
lot of interest. I am also one of those `weird' folks who keep a local
copy of the `HEAD' branch of the Emacs CVS repository on their laptop,
and periodically pull changes from CVS into Mercurial, so I can probably
help with any Mercurial-side questions people have.

I'll see if/how/where I can help in emacs-devel :)
