[issue926] hgk fails on UNC paths on Windows

hg --version returns 51776e50bc8c

hgk fails when it is launched with an UNC path. This is not possible during
commandline operation of mercurial, but it is possible if you use TortoiseHg.

A workaround is to map the UNC path to a network drive.
