I do this sometimes when I'm bored, which happens semi-regularly...

Bug-stomping sounds nice, though we may want to wait until September,
as many people might be AFK for holidays.

Somewhat related: I saw your conversation about diff -w and how it has
known bugs, and this has come up with a Mozillans a lot, as well. I
already spent some time looking at that stuff earlier because I wanted
to use that myself, but I checked again this morning, and it seems
like the whitespace cleaning is only effectively used in the case
where two versions are exactly the same save for the whitespace
differences. It is not at all used when blocks of lines are sent to
the bdiff C module, leading me to believe this was lost in the
translation to C. There is some discussion of a fix in issue127.

Cheers,

Dirkjan
