In what ways do these patches depend on each other, if at
all?
Can these be independently reviewed/tested/applied to crew
repo (in case they are accepted)?
In case some or all are independent of each other:
would it make sense to send them as individual patches
to the list instead of a patch series (this is probably
more a question for the crew members/mpm).
Note: I'm not a Mercurial crew member but I might look into
testing/playing with some of the patches here.
