[PATCH 0 of 5] inotify code cleanups

A simple serie of code cleanups in inotify server.

* the first patch is a simple simplification of server.updatefile
* the second unificates the usage of relative root paths in server.py
* the three last patches remove the reference to repo within inotify
  to use instead a lighter dirstate object. This was suggested by Simon (:
