Um, I thought this was intended to supplement the wiki, not replace
it? Why move this type of content out of the wiki? Unless you plan on
implementing your own wiki software, won't this just mean that fewer
people will be able to contribute?

I have no problem with a more "friendly" front page to the Mercurial
site, but I would prefer the rest of the site to remain as a wiki.

Has Matt commented on this project, yet? I don't recall having seen
anything from him, and without his agreement, presumably the site
isn't going to change in any case...
