We need binary builds for Windows and Mac (and everything else)

"So, as I posted several times back in November and December, I was
hoping to have regular, preferably nightly, builds for testing on all
the major platforms during the code freeze for the 1.2 release. We don't
have that."

Matt is there some information you can point me to about how you would
like the binary builds done? For example:

* Is there a standard way of doing the compilation?
* Which repository should be built?
* How should the results of the build be reported back to the project?

I run netbsd and ubuntu at home. I could set something up.

(I apologise in advance for the disclaimer which is inserted at the end
of my messages by our so-called "mail server").
