[PATCH 00 of 21] Fixing upper/lowercase inconsistencies in output

Hi everybody,

This patch series contain a couple of simple fixes (patches 1-3) and a
bunch of changes to the output in order to make it consistently start
lines with a lowercase word.

In order to best comply with the compatibility rules, I have divided
the changes up into many chunks and tried to describe the impact of
each patch in the patch itself.

Please take a look and apply what you want. The patches are mostly
independent so you can mix and match. I've run the test suite after
each patch.

I guess I'll have to rename it one day since I use it for more than
the i18n patches now... :-)
