[issue1462] hg clone into existing, but empty, directory

New submission from Danek Duvall <danek.duvall at sun.com>:

Currently, you can't clone into an existing directory -- you get a "destination
already exists" error.

It would be nice if could succeed, perhaps by requiring that the destination be
an empty directory. This would allow you to create a new ZFS filesystem (say)
and clone into it without having to do separate init/pull/edit hgrc steps as you
do now.
