I don't have push privileges, but I am a fellow native English speaker
who is almost as passionate about the language as you are.  So I will
take the liberty of reviewing your fine changes!

My only comment on this patch is the commit message: should be something like

  generally replace "file name" with "filename"

(I *told* you I was passionate about the language. ;-)
