Cool. We only extract docstrings from

  mercurial/commands.py
  hgext/*.py
  hgext/*/__init__.py

so only those files will get the local variable block.

I think it is best if we wait with this for after 1.3 -- re-wrapping the
strings will make all translations invalid until they have been merged.
