[issue1676] hg convert from svn crashes when path contains special characters

When trying to import a subversion repository using "hg convert", the conversion
crashes, giving a "'ascii' codec can't encode character" error when it
encoutners a path containing special characters. (in my case a norwegian "ø"
among others)
