OK, this is it. With these two patches,
run-tests.py --debug
works as I want it to work. And I tested that run-tests' myriad other
features (parallel mode, coverage, etc.) still work as before.
This should obsolete the shell script in
http://mercurial.selenic.com/wiki/DebuggingTests.
