On a more general note, it is quite funny to learn that my
"wiki manpower" seems largely incompatible here.

But I understand that I seem to have rather strange views of
wikis in general compared to what the local community here
seems to have.

It may have to do with my history of editing other wikis. Dunno.

In any case, it would have been easy for me to look
after such a tiny little other micro wiki. I would have moved
the pages as well.

In fact, I find the "manpower" argument quite ridiculous. But whatever.

There are numerous other wikis out there. For example bitbucket
provides a separate wiki with each repo you create there (if you
activate it). And I haven't heard of many big problems of repos using
them. The spam level is quite low, and if a wiki starts getting
orphaned, it is usually easy to lock it down (remove write access).

(apologies for the second post, I'll shut up now)
