Nonsense. The vast majority of Mercurial Windows users install Python
without realizing it as it's inside the Mercurial executable. The only
time the average Mercurial user knows they're using Python is when they
trigger a traceback (rather than a segfault).

If that's too much Python for a Ruby-only shop, then that's their loss.
Good luck getting along without C/C++ tools too.
