[PATCH 0 of 1] --new-branch option for pull, take 2

Changes since last time:

1. The option is now called "--new-branch".
2. I added a test and fixed the output of another due to the change.

It seems a bit weird that --force has the short-option -f, while --new-branch
doesn't have a short option, since we would want people to use the latter more
often. I suppose we can add a short option if we can agree on one?
