I would like that since I also dislike talking about a "hgrc file" when
the real file name is one of
- ".hgrc" if in $HOME
- "hgrc" if in .hg
- "Mercurial.ini" if on Windows
I prefer just talking about your "configuration file". So 1. would be
"please specify your commit editor/username in your configuration file"
