not certain (and i'm in a hurry)

but the fact that i can't use the template language to reproduce the
behavior of hg log is annoying (see the multiple tags lines).

I definitely want to be able to safely get file adds/file removes,
although it seemed like someone offered some other interesting hack
for it...
