[PATCH 0 of 3] i18n: translate individual paragraphs separately

I pushed this to crew as 181936ec9bfb, 4fd49329a1b5, 11cd65611f3f.

It turned out that there were a small bug in polib.unescape which I
fixed and sent upstream. Following that I split all the .po files and
made sure that the splitting is stable, e.g., running posplit again does
not change the file.

(I consider this a big documentation improvement, hence I pushed it
despite the feature freeze.)
