[issue2197] Mercurial guide HTML contains unescaped characters

In the guide (http://mercurial.selenic.com/guide/), the .hgrc file contains
an entry for the username which appears (from reading the source) to employ
an e-mail address. This is how I presume the text should appear:

[ui]
username = Mr. Johnson <johnson at smith.com>

However, the special characters are not escaped, thus convincing Firefox
that a special tag is in use, hiding the e-mail address in the output. I
imagine that whichever tool is generating the HTML seems not to escape
special characters in this particular context.
