I don't think it's that bad -- it's a Latin phrase and I think it's
incorporated in many languages.
But I'm of coruse happy to change it if we can find something better.
Perhaps we could leave it out here or substitute it with 'quick':
Start a local HTTP repository browser and pull server. You can use
this for quick sharing and browing of repositories. It is
recommended to use a real web server to serve a repository for
longer periods of time.
The idea is to indicate that 'hg serve' is a quick and easy way for
temporary serving.
