No worries: an improved version went in, ages ago, as 79231258503b.
As for fixing transplant of multiple changesets so it doesn't
silently drop whole or partial patches on the floor (issue 2264): no
progress. I can still fix the bug with a one-line patch
(http://mercurial.selenic.com/bts/msg12967), but I don't understand
*why* that fixes the bug.
