Well, bandwidth is unchanged so far of course. Wire-proto will allow us 
to extend the feature, thus saving us bandwidth.

I seriously doubt that the lwcopy-related part of the new wire protocol 
is gonna be 12+ patches ;-). Let's be more optimistic.

Well, issues can always be discovered, no matter how finished. As I see 
it, the feature IS finished, and wire-proto would be an extension of it.

Anyway, I don't want to argue this anymore. Let's just agree that you 
are the bad guy, and I'll just comply; no one else is gonna get involved 
in this debate anyway, judging from experience.

I'll change the patch to enable the feature in the same way as parentdelta.
