[issue2404] Changelog shows spurious items in the changed files list for some commits

Some of my developers have recently been complaining about commit logs on
Google Code showing deltas from previous commits (often by different users).
I though this an entirely Google Code related problem until one of my
developers noticed that the changesets in question also showed the extra
files in the change log generated by Mercurial, but no trace in the patch or
export output.

I believe that the affected commits were made with Mercurial 1.6.2, but I
can get more detailed information later if necessary.
