[PATCH 0 of 1] RFC: add support for scp/rsync style URLs for ssh?

Hi!

I often get reports that people like to use scp/rsync style URLs for
accessing Mercurial repositories and from time to time I find myself
typing this, too.

A co-worker created a nice patch with tests and documentation update
to add support for this.

Are there any objections on pushing this to default?
