Hi everyone,

If you're a native Russian speaker willing to contribute for the Russian
translation of Mercurial, please, ANNOUNCE YOUR PLANS.

Knowing a plans of each other would help us to coordinate our efforts and
avoid interference.

Proposed process is as follows:

If you currently have a plan to translate a certain part of the message
catalog, to edit the translation, or express any suggestions to the
coordinated vocabulary, please, send notification to mercurial-devel mailing
list AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE (perhaps in 1 day).

The notification should be accompanied by an estimation of time you need to
complete your translation work, your editing work, or to define your
suggestions.

Possible form of notification could be:

* I’m starting a translation of color extension. I plan to complete
  in a week finishing December, 18, 2001.

* I’ve several suggestions for the terms from the coordinated vocabulary.
I’ll sent further details in 2 days. From that time I expect a
discussion for a week or two. Upon finishing the discussion, I plan
to edit the translation in 2 days, that will require everyone to
commit their pending changes and for the period of editing.

To announce your own plans, please send a message to the mercurial-devel
mailing list with [i18n-ru] tag in subject.
