[PATCH 0 of 3 STABLE] windows: normalize path separation style for repository nesting check

This patch series normalizes path separation style for repository
nesting check on Windows environment.

2nd patch expects 3rd one, for backward compatibility where '\' is
used as path separator of path to subrep.
