[issue2629] MQ strip keeps empty .i files/dirs, plus

New submission from Steffen Daode Nurpmeso <sdaoden at gmail.com>:

I'll attach a shell script which cd's to $TMPDIR and creates a hg-test
directory. It'll show what i mean maybe more exact than the text.

While testing how to work with Mercurial in respect to branches, i've used
MQ's 'strip' command to remove an entire branch. The dirs/files therein
however were kept in .hg/data as empty stubs??? And cloning that repo
clones those empty stubs, too (unless --pull is used).

My question: is this a bug that will/will that behaviour be addressed, or do
i simply misuse Mercurial? I.e., in the latter case, shall i simply accept
that there is no way to delete a branch?

P.S.: i really like HG beside that, it's somewhat easy to use and offers a
really good help which can be understood by non-heroes which think in SHA-1
hashes.
