Hey,

Updated my patch series.
 - git support:
  - uses len(prefix) instead of a fixed value of 11 (matt request)
  - now hides false fatal errors from git commands
  - updated tests output
 - added hg source support
 - added a test for hg source support

I'll write a git test tomorrow most probably.
