Yes, "уловка" is simply horrible. Since there's no generally accepted 
Russian equivalent of the term, the translation should either introduce 
a new term with a meaningful explanation , or leave it as it is - 
Cyrillic transliterated term "hook", which would make sense to Russian 
python programmers.

"конроль доступа основанный на бранче" - there's a typo. Also it's clumsy and missing punctuations, just like the rest of the patch.

I think the translation needs some major editing.
