With the freeze less than a week off, this seems unlikely. But getting
it merged right after the 2.0 release will give us a good amount of time
to get it tested and rounded out for 2.1.

These are the first visible 'fruits' of this work, so they should
probably move up in your priority list.

I still think we should actually hold off on implementing any support
for secret until we're happy the above works properly.
