[PATCH 0 of 4] [RFC] Print the bisection status in the log

Hello All!

This patch series is just an RFC about how to print the bisection
status in the log. It is *not* intended to be applied as-is!

This is done via a new template keyword 'bisect', and a new template
filter 'shortbisect'. A new style 'bisect' uses that to display the
bisection status in the log. See the different patches for output
examples.

I'm open to comments and criticism! :-)
