[issue3348] "hg help config" no longer shows easy instructions for setting ui.username

As discussed on SO ( http://stackoverflow.com/a/2351139/110204 ) we've 
managed to turn "hg help config" into a gigantic text. It used to be short 
and had an example for setting the username -- that was no accident since we 
ask users to see "hg help config" when they haven't set one. Without a pager 
configured this isn't as helpful as it used to be.
