Beyond that it fails because it believe the source repo to not be a svn repo 
instead of giving a meaningful error. Overall the detection approach is fairly 
poor ( requesting a magic path which it hopes not to be a valid path and svn 
hopefully returning something which isn't 404 to indicate that it's in fact 
svn ). I don't know the particulars of svn, but surely there must be some 
public part of the svn protocol which can be used for considerably more 
robustness?
