Just that the test is failing - causing a distraction when looking for possible regressions from other changes. Ought to be skipped in this environment I guess. Can post 
a patch if you agree.

I am running /usr/bin/emacs23-x, and using M-x shell not M-x term, thus functioning as a mostly dumb terminal.
