          Assignee: bugzilla at selenic.com
Summary: Provide a way to modify the Unix permissions from
                    Windows
          Severity: feature
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: digulla at hepe.com
          Hardware: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 2.3.2
         Component: Mercurial
           Product: Mercurial

Mercurial does track the permissions of a file in the metadata but there is no
way to modify permissions which your local file system doesn't support.

Please add commands to query and modify the meta data of a file.

Use case: Set the execute bit for Unix scripts when creating new scripts on
Windows.
